About this canoga park gift
Canoga Park is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it even after they move. Some came up through the schools, some grew up on the same blocks their families have lived on for decades, and some just spent long years in the Valley before heading somewhere else. A shirt with Canoga Park on it is how they say where they're from without having to explain it. Because the neighborhood name is specific, the designs work best when the detail is personal: add the years they lived there, a street, a school or the graduating class. For someone who moved away, a mug with Canoga Park on it is a small daily reminder of home. For a grad or a longtime resident, a hoodie with the name is something they'll wear through the cold nights they wouldn't have had at home.
