About this copy director gift
A copy director usually runs a writing and editing team, signs off on the words that go out under a brand, and spends a lot of late evenings in review with deadlines looming. They know the difference between a headline that works and one that merely sounds clever, and they tend to read everything, including the back of the cereal box. A gift that lands for them is something to wear or use while they're actually at work or winding down after it: a hoodie for the long edit day, a mug for the third coffee of the morning, a tee for the weekend when they're not thinking about deadlines. Put their title on it, copy director, so it fits how they see themselves, and add a second line like their team name or the year they took the role if you know it. It's a small gift, but it shows you understand what they do and that it matters to you.
