About this director placement gift
A director of placement usually sits between students or graduates and the employers who want them, which means the job is full of phone calls, interview prep sessions, career fairs and a steady stream of people who need a yes. Many of them work through the busy spring and fall recruiting seasons, and they often carry the weight of a whole class's job search on their shoulders. A gift that says they're the person who makes placements happen tends to land well, especially when it's something they'll actually use at a desk or at a career fair table. Put their title on the shirt or mug, or add their institution or department on the second line so it's clearly theirs. For a hoodie, a cold office or a long drive to a campus visit is an easy fit. It's a quieter kind of job than most people realize, and a small, personal gift shows you noticed.
All director placement gifts →- A mug for the deskAn 11oz mug with director placement on it is a daily reminder of the work they do, and it fits right in with the coffee that keeps them going through recruiting season.
- A tee for career fair dayAdd the institution or department on the second line so the shirt is specific to where they work.
- A hoodie for campus visitsRecruiting events often happen in chilly rooms and outdoor tents, so a warm hoodie they can wear all day is a practical pick.
