About this director services gift
Directors of services usually run the operations side of a department or organization, so they're juggling schedules, budgets, staff and a long list of problems that never quite get solved. The gifts they keep tend to acknowledge that: a mug for the first coffee before the day gets loud, a hoodie for the early meetings in a cold building, a tee for the weekend they finally take off. Putting their title on the design shows you know what the role actually is. Add the department or the company name on a second line if you know it, or their own name if they'd rather not be known only by the job. Directors of services often mark promotions, retirements and farewells, so a mug or tee at those moments tends to be remembered long after the cake is gone.
