About this editorial intern gift
Editorial interns spend their days fact-checking, cutting copy at odd hours, and learning which of the many emails in an inbox actually matter. It's a job where the people who stick with it are usually the ones who care about getting things right and don't mind doing the unglamorous work first. A gift that acknowledges the internship, rather than just the outfit they wear to it, tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with their title works for the newsroom or the early mornings of a long editing project, and a mug suits the desk where drafts pile up. If the internship has a season attached, like a summer program or a semester term, put that on a second line. Their name on the design makes it theirs, and a name plus the role says something about the work they're doing right now.
