About this erie gift
Erie is a Lake Erie city in northwestern Pennsylvania, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, even after they move. A shirt with Erie on it is how they claim the place: for lake weather, for the drive back for the holidays, or for a reunion with friends from high school. Lake Erie shapes a lot of daily life there, from summer afternoons on the water to winters that come in off the lake, so a hoodie for the cold months or a mug for the morning routine both feel like they belong to the city. If the person you're shopping for is an Erie native, a transplant who misses home, or a college student far from the lake, the design matters less than the sense that you know where they're from. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a year, or a school they went to and the gift starts to feel like theirs.
