About this frewsburg gift
Frewsburg is a small village in Chautauqua County, in the far southwestern corner of New York State, and people who are from there tend to hold onto it. Anyone who grew up in a place this size knows everyone's business, the local diner, and the drive to the next town for anything bigger than a hardware store. A shirt or mug with Frewsburg on it is a way of saying where you're from when most people have never heard of it. It works for the graduate heading off to college, the grandparent who still gets the local paper, and the transplant who misses a quiet hometown more than they expected. Put the graduation year or a family name on the second line to make it personal. Because Frewsburg is small, it's a name most people will need to ask about, which often starts a good conversation.
