About this fridley gift
Fridley is a suburb just north of Minneapolis, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet, hometown way. A Fridley shirt is how they say where they're from without a long explanation, whether they're wearing it to a local event, to the lake, or on a trip where nobody has heard of the place. It works well for someone who grew up there and came back, or for a transplant who moved for work and wants a little local identity in the kitchen. Because the name is specific, a Fridley design often sparks a question from a stranger, which is part of the fun. Add a second line if you like, a year they moved in or a street name or a school mascot they cheer for, and the shirt starts to belong to them alone. A hoodie fits the Minnesota winters the town is known for, and a mug is an easy everyday reminder for the person who still checks the local news.
