About this gila monster gift
A Gila monster is a heavy, slow lizard with black and orange beading and a venomous bite, and anyone who loves them probably has a story about the desert, a field trip, or a zoo visit where one finally moved. They're native to the deserts of the American Southwest and northwestern Mexico, and they spend most of their lives underground or under rocks, which makes spotting one a small event. For someone who studies, rescues or simply adores these lizards, a shirt or mug with the Gila monster on it is a way of saying the desert animal they care about is worth the attention. Pick the design that matches their taste, add a second line such as a name, a nickname or the place they saw their first one, and the gift becomes specific to them rather than a generic reptile print.
