About this gladbrook gift
Gladbrook is a small town in Iowa, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they end up. A shirt with the town name is how a hometown kid wears their roots to a college campus, a job in the city or a reunion across the state. Small towns also have their own kind of pride: the high school, the Friday night game, the people who still know your parents. A Gladbrook design on a hoodie suits the graduate heading off to school, and a mug fits the parent or grandparent who stayed behind and still gets the local paper. If you're not sure what the person is most attached to, add a year, a class or a street from their life there. That one extra line turns a town name into their town.
