About this la moille gift
La Moille is a small town in north central Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how someone who left for college, a job in Chicago or a military post says where they're from without a long explanation. Small-town pride shows up at reunions, at county fair season and whenever a former resident wears their hometown to a city where nobody else has heard of it. Because the town is small, a design that puts La Moille on the front and a year or a family name underneath feels more personal than a generic city tee. A hoodie suits the cold Illinois winters they remember, and a mug is an easy everyday reminder for a parent or grandparent who still lives there. For the homesick transplant, a La Moille onesie or kids tee lets them pass the name along to the next generation.
