About this lab supervisor gift
A lab supervisor keeps the whole bench running. They check the calibrations, sign off on the reagent logs, cover the bench when someone calls in sick, and are usually the first person to notice when an instrument is drifting. Most of that work happens in gloves and a lab coat, so the gifts that land are the ones that make the long days a little easier. A soft tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the chilly cold room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't end up in the glassware drawer. Put the lab supervisor title on it, or add their lab, department or the year they took the role. That turns a generic job shirt into something only they would wear. If you're buying for a whole team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a better thank-you than another box of donuts.
