About this lamoni gift
Lamoni is a small city in southern Iowa, and the people who grew up there or still call it home tend to hold on to it. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a college game or a family visit, and how they start a conversation with someone who has never heard of the place. Because the name is short and distinctive, it reads well in plain block lettering on a light tee or a dark one. For a kid who has already left, a Lamoni onesie or mug says home in a way a generic gift can't. Small towns make good gifts because the people who love them are usually proud of how small they are. If you're buying for someone who grew up there, a second line with the years they lived in town, or the name of their high school, makes the design their own.
