About this marenisco gift
Marenisco is a small place, a village in Gogebic County on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and most people who live there know the name well and everyone else has never heard of it. That's the core of a Marenisco gift: it's for someone who's proud of a home that doesn't show up on a lot of maps. A shirt or hoodie with the town name is how they carry it to the Lower Peninsula, the college campus or a new job far away. For a family that has stayed put for generations, a mug or a kids tee with the name on it says the place matters to the next generation too. Add a second line with the year they moved, a street, or the nickname locals use, and the design becomes a little more theirs. Because the name is short and distinctive, the lettering reads clean on any color, from a light tee to a dark hoodie.
