About this merchandise supervisor gift
A merchandise supervisor runs the floor side of retail: stock levels, planograms, the schedule that actually gets the holiday endcaps built, and the team that has to hear about it when the truck is late. It's a job that's easy to overlook until something goes wrong, so a gift that says they're the one who keeps it running tends to land well. A tee for the stockroom or the drive in, a hoodie for the cold back dock, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the office coffee maker all work. Put the job title on it, or add the store or department on a second line if you know it, so it reads as theirs and not a generic work shirt. If you're buying for the whole team, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a better thank-you than another round of donuts. Retail teams tend to be busiest in the weeks before the winter holidays, which is also when most of their extra hours land, so a gift that arrives early in the season has the most room to get used.
