About this mertztown gift
Mertztown is a small place, and the people from there tend to hold on to it. A shirt with the town name is how someone who grew up there says so, whether they still live down the road or ended up hundreds of miles away. Small towns make their own kind of gift: a tee for the homecoming weekend, a hoodie for the cold drive back for the holidays, a mug for the kitchen of someone who misses the place. Since the town is small and not widely known, a shirt with a second line can carry the detail that actually matters to them, like a street, a school class year or the name of the family farm. That personal touch is what turns a town name into something they'll wear for years.
