About this ninilchik gift
Ninilchik is a small Alaska village on the Kenai Peninsula, and people who grew up there or moved away carry it with them. A shirt with the village name is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and it lands well with someone who has left and gets homesick for the place. Since the name is specific and not widely known, the best way to make it personal is to add something from their own life: the year they graduated, the family they belong to, or a line that means something only to them. Many designs have a second line for exactly that. A hoodie suits someone who misses cold, clear winters, and a mug works well for a kitchen table where they start the day. The shirts come in light and dark, adult and kids sizes, so one design can cover a whole household.
