About this ostrander gift
Ostrander is a small community, and the people who grew up there or moved away carry the name with a certain pride. A shirt with Ostrander on it is how they claim the place, whether they're still around the corner from where they were raised or living far away and missing it. Because the name is less familiar to most people, a shirt often starts a conversation: someone asks where it is, and the wearer gets to explain. For a homesick transplant, a mug with the town name is a small daily reminder of where they're from. For a kid, a tee or onesie with Ostrander lets a family mark a new baby's hometown before the baby can say a word about it. The second line on most designs is a good place for a year or a street, so the shirt can say something only that person would recognize.
