About this pinconning gift
Pinconning is a small town in Michigan's Bay County area, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A Pinconning shirt is the kind of gift that says you know where someone comes from, whether they still live a few miles away or have built a life in a city hundreds of miles off. Small-town pride shows up in simple things: a tee worn to the county fair, a hoodie for the cold months, a mug for the kitchen table where the morning news gets read. Because the town name is the whole point, the design does most of the work. Keep the wording plain, and add a second line for a graduating class, a family name or the year they left if that means something to them. For a transplant who misses home, a Pinconning mug is a small daily reminder of where they started.
