About this product development internship gift
A product development intern is usually a student or recent grad spending a summer or semester inside a company that's building something real. They sit in on design reviews, run prototype tests, and try to keep track of which version of the spec is the current one. Most of the job is learning how a team turns an idea into a shippable product, and a lot of it happens in meetings where they're trying to look like they know what's going on. A gift that acknowledges the internship lands well: a tee for the first week of commuting, a hoodie for the air-conditioned office or the chilly lab, or a mug for the long prototype days. Put the role on it, and add the year or a team name if they've told you one. That turns a generic work shirt into something that marks the stretch of their career they'll remember, and it's a quiet way of saying you noticed they're building something.
