About this quaker city gift
Quaker City is one of Philadelphia's old nicknames, a nod to the Quaker founders who settled the region in the 1680s and to the city's long run as a place of plain-spoken, stubborn civic pride. Someone who grew up with that name, or who simply loves Philly, will likely wear it as an identity rather than a souvenir. The gifts that land well are the ones that feel like they came from someone who pays attention: a shirt that uses the nickname instead of the usual skyline, or a mug for the morning ritual that starts every day back in the city. Pick a light or dark tee depending on what they wear most, or a hoodie for the cold months when the Delaware wind gets through everything. If you're buying for a few people who all love the city, the Team Shop lets you order one design with a different name on each shirt, so the whole group can match at the next game or reunion.
