About this ransomville gift
Ransomville is a small place, a hamlet in western New York near Niagara Falls, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the town name is how someone from there says so at a reunion, a game, a visit home or a college dorm far from the county line. Small towns also have their own rhythms: the school colors, the summer fair, the people you run into at the one grocery store. A design with Ransomville on the front and a year or a family name underneath means more to a hometown person than a generic souvenir. For someone who left years ago, a mug with the town name is a small daily reminder of where they started. Because the town is small, the details that matter most are personal ones, so pick the year they left, the class they graduated with, or the street they grew up on.
