About this resident director gift
A resident director usually lives in the building they manage, so the job runs on evenings, weekends and the 2 a.m. phone call about a fire alarm. They're the person residents come to for roommate problems, lost keys and the first homesick week of a new school year, and most of the work happens in hallways and lobbies rather than an office. A gift that acknowledges that lands well: a tee they can wear on a long duty night, a hoodie for the chilly rounds across campus, or a mug for the desk they keep in the apartment. Put their name on it, or the building or hall they oversee in the second line, so it's clearly theirs. If you're shopping for a whole staff team, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is a simple way to thank everyone who keeps the residence hall running.
