About this rn transfer gift
An RN transfer is someone who already knows nursing and is learning a new floor, a new charting system and a new set of unit routines, often while carrying a full assignment. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that jump. A soft tee for the first shift in a new unit, a hoodie for the cold ride in before dawn, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the break room. Adding their credential, such as RN or their unit's name, makes the shirt feel like it belongs to their career rather than a generic nursing joke. If you're buying for a whole group of transfers, one shared design with each person's name on their own shirt gives the new team a visible welcome. Ask them which unit they're moving to first, since that detail is what makes the gift feel chosen rather than picked off a rack.
