About this sea squirt gift
A sea squirt is a small marine animal that lives attached to rocks, docks and the bottoms of boats, filtering seawater through its body. Anyone who loves tide pools, snorkeling or marine biology will probably find the name delightful, and that's a good starting point for a gift. Sea squirts look like little sacs of gelatin with two openings, so a shirt with the word on it tends to start conversations at the beach or the aquarium. The people who actually get excited about them are often students, divers, naturalists and kids who've just discovered the tide pool, and each has a different reason to smile at the name. Choose a shirt for the day trip, a hoodie for cold harbor mornings, or a mug for the one who spends every morning reading about the ocean. The design can carry their own second line, such as a dive site, a school or a year, so the gift reflects the person and not just the animal.
