About this selby gift
Selby is a market town in North Yorkshire, England, so a Selby shirt usually goes to someone who grew up there, has family nearby, or has a link to the town's abbey and river-side streets. Someone who's moved away may love a mug or tee that keeps the hometown name in front of them every morning. Because the town is small, a gift that uses the name alone will read clearly to anyone who knows it. Add a second line for a street, a school, a year, or a nickname from the local crowd, and the gift starts to feel like it was made for one particular person from that place. A hoodie works well for the cold months, and an onesie is a sweet way to mark a new baby with a town they'll one day call their own.
