About this sewist gift
A sewist is someone who sews for the love of it, often with a stash of fabric they swear they'll use someday and a machine that gets more attention than the car. They might make their own clothes, quilts for new babies, or bags for the craft fair. What tends to land with them is a gift that nods to the craft without turning into a sewing kit. A tee or hoodie that says Sewist is a quiet claim to the title, and it's easy to wear to a guild meeting or a fabric shop trip. A mug is perfect for the cutting table, where the coffee goes cold while the pattern pieces get pinned. You can make the gift theirs by adding a second line for a sewing group, a studio name, or the year they started. Keep it simple and let the word do the talking.
