About this south sterling gift
South Sterling is a small place, and people who come from it tend to carry it with them. Whether they grew up there, moved away for work, or came back to raise a family, a shirt with the town name is a quiet way of saying where they belong. A small town means everybody knows somebody, so a gift that points to home lands well with anyone who still gets Sunday phone calls from the old neighbors. For the one who left, a hoodie is the kind of thing they'll wear through their first cold winter somewhere new. For the one who stayed, a mug with the town on it fits right in on the kitchen counter, next to the coffee they've been drinking since high school. Add a year underneath, like the year they moved or the year of a reunion, and the shirt starts to tell their story as well as the town's.
