About this sublette gift
Sublette is a small name for a town most people have never heard of, so the people who live there or grew up there tend to be proud of it in a quiet, specific way. A shirt that says Sublette is for the person who knows exactly which road leads out of town and which diner still serves breakfast all day. It's a gift for someone who has left and misses it, or someone who stayed and never wanted to go anywhere else. Because the name is uncommon, a Sublette design stands out in a crowd of city and sports shirts, and people will ask about it. Add a second line with the year they moved, the school they went to or the street they grew up on, and it becomes a piece of their history rather than a souvenir. A mug works well for the kitchen table of someone who still calls home Sublette, and a hoodie suits the cold months.
