About this tire changer gift
A tire changer spends the day on his or her feet in a shop that smells like rubber and cold coffee, breaking down wheels, seating beads and balancing tires for people who mostly think about the job when it goes wrong. The gifts that land are the ones that feel like they were made for the work: a tee that's comfortable under a grease-stained jacket, a hoodie for the cold bay with the big door open, a mug for the first coffee before the first car rolls in. Put the words tire changer front and center, then add a second line with a shop name, a years-of-experience number or a nickname the crew uses. That turns a generic work shirt into one that's clearly theirs. Many shoppers also order the same design for the whole crew, which is a good way to say thanks to the people who keep the bays running.
