About this tonawanda gift
Tonawanda is a village and town in western New York, just north of Buffalo along the Niagara River. People who grew up there often carry it with them: a tee with Tonawanda on it is how a former Tonawanda High kid or a longtime local says where they're from without a long explanation. It's a wonderful gift for someone who moved away and misses the Buffalo-area lake and river towns, or for someone who never left and wears the hometown with pride. Add a second line, a year, a street or a neighborhood nickname if you know one, and the shirt becomes specifically theirs. A mug works well for the kitchen, and a hoodie is the one that gets worn through the long western New York winter. If you're buying for a whole group, like a family or a class reunion, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
