About this trinidad gift
Trinidad is a city, but also an island, and for a lot of people a Trinidad shirt is about the place they're from or the place their family still calls home. Carnival season, steelpan music, doubles from a corner stand, and the sound of a Sunday afternoon with the family all come with that name. A Trinidad design is a way for someone who grew up there, or whose parents did, to carry it wherever they go. It also works for a traveler who fell hard for the island on a trip and wants a reminder of the food and the people they met. The shirt or mug can say Trinidad on the front and a second line with a village, a family name or a year they went home. The more personal the second line, the more it will mean to the person who opens it.
