About this tustin gift
Tustin is a city in Orange County, California, known for its historic district, its old Marine Corps air station that became a huge civic project, and its easy access to the coast and the freeways. People who grew up there or built a life there tend to hold the city close, so a Tustin shirt is a way to claim it. It suits a longtime resident, a high school alum, or someone who just moved away and misses the sunshine and the familiar streets. Pair the city name with a neighborhood, a school year or a street and it stops being a generic souvenir and becomes their own. Hoodies work well for the cooler coastal evenings, and mugs suit the one who wants a reminder of home at the start of the workday.
