About this van nuys gift
Van Nuys is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of it in a low-key way. A shirt with Van Nuys on it says you know the valley, the grid of streets, the Orange Line and the long summer heat that settles in off the 405. For someone who grew up there, or whose family has been in the area for years, a design they can wear to the grocery store or the farmers market feels like being seen. Add a second line with the zip code, a street they grew up on, or the high school they attended, and the shirt starts to belong to them. For someone who moved away, a Van Nuys mug on the kitchen counter is a small daily reminder of where they started. The Van Nuys designs come in adult and kids sizes, a hoodie for cooler evenings, and a baby onesie for a family's newest local.
