About this vandemere gift
Vandemere is a name you'd only know if you're from there or have a reason to be. I don't know much about the place, so I'd rather not guess at its history or landmarks. What I can say is that a town shirt usually goes to someone who has a real connection to it: someone who grew up there, moved away and kept the accent, or simply loves the place they call home. For that person, the gift lands when it names the town the way they say it. A tee or hoodie with Vandemere on the front works for everyday wear, and a mug is the easy daily reminder on the kitchen counter. If you want something more personal, add a second line with the street, the neighborhood or the year they moved, something only the two of you would recognize. Ask them how they spell it and what they'd put underneath before you order, because the detail is what makes the shirt feel like theirs.
