About this waubun gift
Waubun is a small town in northwestern Minnesota, and people who grew up there tend to stay connected to it, even after they've moved to the Twin Cities or farther away. A shirt with Waubun on it is how they claim the place: for a homecoming weekend, a family reunion or the first trip back after years away. Small towns also mean everybody knows everybody, so a tee with a second line for a family name, a graduating class or a street can turn a town shirt into a personal one. For someone who has left and misses the quiet, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of where they're from. If you're not sure about a detail, like a class year or a nickname for the town, you can leave it off and keep the design to just the place name.
