About this wausau gift
Wausau is a city in north-central Wisconsin, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they land. A Wausau shirt is how a former resident waves the flag at a family reunion, a game day or a trip back for the holidays. Since many designs have a second line, you can add a neighborhood, a graduating class year, or the name of a high school or local landmark the recipient knows well. Wausau has real winters, so a hoodie is the kind of gift that actually gets worn, and a mug works well for the transplant who wants a daily reminder of home. For a relative who's moved away, the piece that tends to land best is the one that feels like it came from the place they still think of as home.
