About this wetumka gift
Wetumka is a small town in Hughes County, Oklahoma, and the people who call it home tend to stay close to it. A Wetumka shirt is the kind of thing a person wears to the high school ballgame, to the family reunion held in a town park, or on the drive back after a few years away. Because the town is small, a shirt with its name on it carries a lot of local meaning, and the gift lands best when it feels like it belongs to someone who knows the place. A tee or hoodie suits the homebody who never really left, while a mug works well for the former resident now living in a city far away. The easiest way to make it theirs is to use the second line for a detail only they would recognize, such as a graduation year, a family name or the street they grew up on. That small touch turns a town name into their own story.
