About this zhuihu gift
Zhuihu is a two-stringed bowed instrument from China, sometimes called the Chinese violin, with a thin hardwood neck, a small resonating body covered in snakeskin, and a bow strung between its two strings. Players of erhu and related instruments often spend years on a single piece, so the person you're shopping for may be a student, a teacher, or someone who plays for ensembles, weddings or festival performances. A shirt or hoodie with the word on it is a way to show pride in an instrument that many people have never heard up close. For a gift that lands, add the name of their group, school or teacher on the second line, or a year if they're marking a milestone like a first solo or a graduation from a conservatory program. Many designs also have room for a short line, so a performer can wear the instrument's name with their own.
All zhuihu gifts →- A tee for the next concertA Zhuihu shirt is easy to wear to rehearsal, a performance, or a gathering of other musicians who will appreciate the instrument.
- A mug for practice sessionsAn 11oz mug with Zhuihu on it is a quiet reminder of the instrument during long evenings of bowing scales.
