About this cook apprentice gift
A cook apprentice is usually up before the sun, learning knife cuts, stock timing and how to survive a Friday dinner rush while still on the clock for their first real kitchen job. They're often tired, a little sore, and proud of every small thing a chef finally lets them do alone. A gift that fits that life is something they can wear to the restaurant or drink from on the walk to the bus stop. You can make it theirs by putting the word cook apprentice on the front and adding their name or the kitchen they work in on the second line. If they're in a culinary program rather than a restaurant, you can mention that in the second line instead. Either way, a shirt or mug with their title on it says you noticed the work they're putting in, and that's the part most people in the kitchen never hear enough.
All cook apprentice gifts →- A dark tee for serviceA dark T-shirt with their name on the second line works well for a kitchen where whites get ruined fast.
- A hoodie for the walk homeEarly prep shifts run cold in a walk-in, so a hoodie with their title is useful well past the first season.
- A mug for the pre-shift coffeeAn 11oz mug with cook apprentice on it is the one thing they'll grab before the first ticket of the day.
- Matching tees for the crewPick one design in the Team Shop, paste the names of everyone on the line, and each cook gets a shirt in their size.
