About this river captain gift
A river captain spends long days on the water reading currents, sandbars and changing weather, and most of the job happens far from shore. The gifts that land tend to be practical things they can use on the boat or at home after a shift: a tee for a day on the deck, a hoodie for the cold early runs, a mug for the first coffee before the lines are cast off. Put river captain on the design, and add the river they work or the vessel name in the second line so it reads as theirs and not a generic captain shirt. Ask them first what the waterway is called and how they'd like the title written. The Team Shop works well if you're buying for a whole crew or a towboat company, since one design can carry every name with its own size.
