About this transformer assembler gift
A transformer assembler builds the coils and cores that step power up or down before it reaches a home or a factory, so the work is precise, hands-on and often done on a shop floor that smells of solder and varnish. They spend long shifts checking windings, torquing hardware and reading drawings, and the pride in the job tends to be quiet and specific. A gift that names the trade tells them someone noticed. A tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold stretch of the shift, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the bench all work well. Put their name on it, and if they're on a particular line or in a particular shop, add that as the second line. Coworkers who build the same units will recognize the shirt across the floor, which is a small pleasure in a job that rarely gets seen.
