About this resident advisor gift
A resident advisor, or RA, is the person on a residence hall floor who knows which door is always propped open, who's keeping an eye on a floor that's had a rough week, and who's usually stuck with the 2 a.m. fire alarm. Most RAs are students themselves, juggling their own classes while looking out for a few dozen residents, so they spend a lot of time being the one everyone comes to. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee or hoodie with RA on it is something they can wear to floor meetings and on move-in day, and a mug fits the late nights spent writing programming plans. Add the hall name or the school year in the second line and it becomes theirs. Many RAs finish their term in spring, so a spring send-off or a graduation gift is a natural time to order.
