About this gering gift
Gering is a small city in western Nebraska, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A shirt with the city name is how a Gering native signals home at a college reunion, a family wedding or a Nebraska football game in a crowd of strangers. Because the place is small, the details people care about are local ones, so add a second line that means something to them: a graduation year, the high school class, the street they grew up on, or the year they moved away. A hoodie suits the homesick transplant in a colder climate, and a mug is an easy pick for the parent who still gets the local paper. If you're buying for someone who left and rarely visits, a Gering design is a quiet way to say you remember where they're from.
