About this graettinger gift
Graettinger is a small town in northwest Iowa, and people who grew up there tend to stay connected to it, even after they've moved on to bigger places. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a family reunion, a school homecoming, or a trip back for the holidays. Small towns give a gift like this extra weight, because the person is likely to recognize the name right away and wear it proudly around people who know exactly where it is. Add a second line with a graduation year, a class, or the street they lived on, and the shirt becomes about their own story there. A hoodie fits the cold northern Iowa winters, and a mug suits the person who keeps a little hometown pride in their daily routine. Kids tees and onesies work well for families who want to start a new generation of Graettinger kids.
