About this maple gift
Maple is a small place name that shows up in a lot of spots across the US, from Maple Grove and Maple Heights to plain Maple streets and towns with a Maple in the name. A shirt or mug with Maple on it usually goes to someone who grew up there, moved away, or just loves the feel of a tree-lined town in autumn. The word itself is easy to picture: red leaves, cold mornings, a sugar shack, a front porch. Because so many places share the name, the second line is where the gift becomes theirs. Add the state, the neighborhood, the high school class year, or the town they left so the shirt says exactly where they're from. A Maple hoodie suits the college student heading back for a fall weekend, and a Maple mug fits the kitchen of someone who misses the place more than they admit.
