About this minooka gift
Minooka is a village in Grundy County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there or moved in for the schools tend to carry the name with them. A Minooka shirt is how someone shows their hometown pride at a county fair, a high school reunion or a holiday visit back. It's the gift for the person who still says they're from Minooka even after twenty years somewhere else. For a family that's just settled in, a hoodie or mug with the town name marks the new start. Add a street, a graduation year or a school class and it becomes specific to them rather than a generic town souvenir. Many designs come in kids and baby sizes too, so the whole household can match.
