About this mokane gift
Mokane is a small place, and most people who live there know each other, or at least know the same three roads. A shirt with the town name is the kind of thing that gets worn to the one diner, the one ballfield, or the church picnic, where everyone recognizes it. Because it's a small place, people who left often feel the pull most strongly. A Mokane mug on the kitchen counter of someone who moved to a big city is a quiet reminder of where they started. For someone still there, a hoodie for the cold months is practical and personal at once. I know very little about the town's specific landmarks or traditions, so the best detail to add is your own: a street name, a year they were born, or the name of their family farm. That turns a town name into their town.
