About this mountainside gift
Mountainside is a borough in Union County, New Jersey, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of its quiet residential streets and the feeling of being a little above the bustle of the surrounding towns. Someone who grew up there, or who raised a family there, will often wear their hometown as a point of pride rather than a flashy souvenir. A shirt that says Mountainside on the front, with a second line for a graduation year, a street or a family name, reads as personal and specific. A hoodie suits the chilly walk to the bus stop or the sidelines of a school game, and a mug fits the kitchen of someone who moved away but still thinks of the place fondly. Because the name is local, the best gift often starts with asking the recipient what the town means to them, then choosing the design that carries that memory.
