About this navasota gift
Navasota is a small city in Grimes County, Texas, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Whether someone still lives in town, moved to Houston or Austin for work, or left for the military and never came back to stay, a Navasota shirt is how they say where they're from. It works especially well for homecoming weekends, family visits, and the first trip back after a long time away. Since many people from smaller towns feel a strong pull toward home, a design that names the place lands warmly. You can make it feel personal by adding a second line with a graduating class, a street, or the year they left, so it reads as their own story rather than a generic souvenir. For a transplant who misses home, a mug with Navasota on it becomes the daily reminder of where they started.
